Tuesdays at 9 a.m. at the Lighthouse Centre, (Kingsland Academy), Craft Group.


Tuesdays each week at St Stephens Church, Bentilee, at 10.30 a.m.  All are welcome to prayer.

 

Tuesdays, Cross Rhythms 11 to 2 p.m. Tune in to 101.8fm where Revd Malcolm Mycock hosts the “Community Choice” show.


Tuesdays at 12.30 to 2.30 p.m. at St Stephen’s Church, Bentilee, Foodbank is open.


Tuesdays at 7.30 p.m. House Group Meetings, at homes in the Parish.


Wednesdays at 9 a.m. at the Lighthouse Centre, (Kingsland Academy), Knit and Give Group.


Wednesday mornings at 9.15 a.m. at St Stephen’s Church, Bentilee, Parent Power Toddlers.


Wednesday mornings at 10.30 a.m. at St John’s Welcome Centre. Coffee, Faith and Chat.


Wednesday evenings at 5.45 p.m. Lightbeams at Kingsland Academy (for Primary School aged children).


Wednesday evenings at 6.15 p.m. at Kingsland Academy, a Fusion Youth Group for those in year 6 and older.


Wednesday at 7 p.m. at St Stephen’s Church, Bentilee, Bible Study.


Thursdays at 9.30 a.m. at The Marychurch Centre. Toddlers Group.

Diary Dates


June 4th at 7.30 p.m. at St Mary’s Church. Mike Bridgewater will receive his licence from Bishop Geoff Annas. Congratulations to Mike on completing his curacy. He will be licensed as Assistant Minister in Bucknall Team Ministry.


June 8th at 9 a.m. The Ladies Breakfast at St Stephen’s Church, Bentilee. Everybody welcome.


June 8th 3 - 5 p.m. at St Mary’s Church, Vintage Afternoon Tea, with music from Penkhull Brass Band. Bring your own wine, but glasses will be provided. Tickets cost £10 each from The Parish Office, or contact Noelle at St Mary’s.


June 9th at 6 p.m. at Kings’s Hall, Stoke,  “Thy Kingdom Come”. This is a Pentecostal celebration. The guest speaker will be Robert Mountford, and worship will be led by James Adams. For more information contact 01782207200, or email timl@saltbox .org.uk

June 17th  at 7 p.m. LLT meeting at St Stephen’s Church, Bentilee.


June 17th at 7 p.m. at The Marychurch Centre, the Friends of Bucknall Park meeting. Please come and have your say about improvements to our local park.


June 22nd 12 to 4 p.m. in Bucknall Park, The Friends Of Bucknall Summer Event. Lots of attractions, stalls, and good fun.  


June 28th at 8.30 a.m. at The Marychurch Centre, the Men’s Breakfast. Gentlemen, come along and enjoy a full English breakfast and some good company.


September 3rd, at St Mary’s Church. We will be welcoming Revd Darren Edge and family as Darren becomes the new Vicar of St Mary’s.








Open for business, and highly recommended - The Lantern Cafe, based at Kingsland School. Open from 7.30 a.m. to 4.30 p.m. each day. A great place to make new friends and enjoy good food. Open to everyone, and catering for all tastes including gluten free.

Also at Kingsland, is The Lighthouse Centre. Ask about it while you are there.
