The Centre can be booked for classes, parties, and wedding receptions. Because it is close to St Mary’s Church it is also a convenient place to gather following a funeral service. Prices to hire the Centre are very competitive, and range from £11 an hour for the smaller rooms on the lower level, to £16 an hour for the large hall at street level. The upper level of the Marychurch Centre has the capacity to accommodate 150 people. Rooms on the lower floor allow smaller groups to have meetings. Kitchens on both levels are available so that tea, coffee and refreshments can be prepared. Caterers can be arranged if a more extensive menu is needed.
The Centre does not have a licence to sell alcoholic drinks, but people using the rooms for parties, or wedding receptions, are welcome to bring their own alcoholic drinks provided they are not being resold.
