Diary Dates

New Courses:

Week commencing 18th September, the new courses begin. On Tuesdays, Discipleship courses at The Marychurch Centre at 7.30 p.m.

Tuesdays, in the evening, and commencing on September 19th, at 7 p.m., a Pilgrim Course to find out more about the Eucharist.

In the evening, and commencing on September 19th, a 10 week Y course at St Stephen’s Vicarage, Bentilee. Perfect for those new to the faith, or who want to explore what Christianity is about.

Wednesdays, (following Holy Communion and lunch at St Mary’s), a Bible Study course. This will be spent looking at major Bible characters.

Wednesday evenings at 5.45 p.m. Lightbeams at Kingsland Academy (for primary school aged children).

Wednesday evenings at 6.15 p.m. At Kingsland Academy, a Fusion Youth Group for those in year 6 and older.

November 7th at Stoke Minster, at 7.30 p.m. The Deanery Synod.

November 8th at 7 p.m. Friends of Bucknall Park meeting at The Marychurch Centre in Werrington Road. Everybody who loves our local park is encouraged to come along and have their say about how the park

should be improved.

November 12th at 10.50 a.m. at the Cenotaph in Werrington Road, the Remembrance Day Service. This will be followed by church services in local churches.

November 12th at 6.30 p.m.The Annual Memorial Service, remembering those who have died this year, and all those who have passed away, but played a significant part in our lives

November 25th at 8.30 a.m. at The Marychurch Centre in Werrington Road, The Men's Breakfast. Gentlemen, come along and enjoy a full English breakfast and some good company.

December 2nd 12 until 4 p.m. at The Marychurch Centre. The Friends of Bucknall Park Christmas event.

December 9th at 3 pm.The Senior Citizens Christmas Party at the Marychurch Centre.

December 12th Kingsland Carol Service at 6.30 p.m.

December 17th at 6.30 p.m. The Carol Service.

December 24th at 4 p.m. The Christingle and Crib Service.

December 24th at 11.30 p.m. The Midnight Christmas Service.

December 25th at 10.30 a.m. Jesus’ Birthday. All age service.

The Rectory, Parish Office, and the Marychurch Centre, (our Church Hall), are all situated in Werrington Road, approximately 200 yards from the Church.
